MARGESON CHARGES FROM 21ST TO PICK UP FIRST SUMMER CHALLENGE SERIES WIN


AFTER MECHANICAL PROBLEMS PREVENTED MARGESON FROM GETTING A QUALIFYING LAP OR HEAT RACE START IT PROVED ONLY A SMALL HICUP AS HE WAS ABLE TO FIND VICTORY AFTER SPIRITED BATTLE WITH JONATHAN JORGENSON AND MECHANICAL WOES DROPPED SHANE SMITH TO THIRD AS IT APPEARED HE WOULD PICK UP HIS FIRST SERIES WIN. THE TOUGH BREAK FOR SMITH WAS THE LUCKY BREAK EVAN MARGESON NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE VERY DIFFICULT TASK OF COMING FROM THE LAST ROW FOR THE WIN.  COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SERVICES LLC OF TUMWATER WASHINGTON WAS THE SPONSOR OF THE NIGHTS EVENTS AND MARGESON COLLECTED $700 FOR HIS EFFORTS.

Jonathan Jorgenson Wins salute to Indy. 


​Clearly the car to beat all day Jonathan Jorgenson picked up his first NWFMS feature win at the Southern Oregon Speedway. Starting from 8th JJ marched his way quickly to the front and took the popular win. 30 drivers made there way to the Salute to Indy drivers from Washington, Oregon, California, Indiana, Hawaii and the British Columbia Province of Canada were in attendance. Rounding out the top 5 were 2017 series champion Tristin Thomas in second, 2017 Gray Harbor Champion Garrett Thomas 4th was Eric Turner and 5th went to Hannah Lindquist.
